Brand archetypes are 12 iconic personality types, such as the Sage, Hero, and Magician, that each have distinct values, motivations, and attitudes. You’ll take an original quiz that we created to determine the archetypes that best align with your business, then work with us to meld them and find your unique brand voice. We always begin with Reveal Your Brand.
We’ll have a set number of one-hour collaborative virtual sessions that take you through a creative series of questions designed to uncover what makes your business unique, determine your ideal clients, and analyze your competitors. At the end of the process, you’ll have a custom brand voice deck that you can use over and over again.
Our work together will start with clarifying your values, developing your ideal client profiles, and completing a thorough competitive analysis. We advise including client feedback through focus groups, interviews or testimonials as an essential part of the process.
Then, we'll create new messaging based on what we've discovered.During our Reveal Your Brand process, we’ll create a custom Brand Voice Deck that includes:
Value Proposition - A brief statement displayed on your home page that tells visitors at a glance who you are, what you do, and what makes you different.
Taglines - A list of short, impactful statements designed to instantly intrigue site visitors and provoke an emotional response.
Mission Statement - A one- to three-sentence statement that briefly outlines who you are, what you do, and who you do it for, helping your internal team get on board. This is often used as a springboard for the more succinct value proposition that will be created for your website.
Brand Tone Guide - Clear instructions for your team to keep your messaging consistent throughout your website, social media posts, public relations, and any other marketing efforts.
Your Brand Archetype Triad - Our original, fun way of looking at brand archetypes that helps you get out of your head and clearly define the three most prominent core values of your brand.
Personalized dictionary of on-brand language - A specific set of words that best conveys your brand voice triad So all the members of your team will be on the same page.
Ideal Client Profiles - Detailed descriptions of the people you most want to work with that go beyond traditional rigid personas to define the demographics, psychographics, and client pain points that help you speak clearly to your audience.
Vision Statement - An inspirational statement that helps you think through the future direction of your business and where you want to go from here.

After finishing your Brand Voice Deck, we’ll schedule a pre-determined number of virtual website strategy sessions to get the rest of the information we need to write the remaining copy. Usually, this means that we’ll dive deeper into the story behind your business, the services you plan to offer, and any keyword strategies you want to implement.
We can also schedule additional meetings to collaborate with any other members of your marketing team, such as a web designer, graphic designer, or SEO specialist.
When the interviews are complete and we’re crystal clear on your needs and specifics, we’ll use your newly revealed brand voice and all of the information we gathered to write your website copy. Once we’ve completed a draft, we’ll review it all with you so you can ask questions and make suggestions.

The price for branding plus website copy projects is customized based on your specific needs, including the number of pages. Most websites range from 3-10 pages, but we can work with any range needed.
The majority of our website copy plus branding projects range from $3,000-$15,000. Projects on the higher end of the spectrum often involve multiple interviews to gather biographical information for your team members.

As of May 2023, we are no longer taking on website copyediting projects for new clients.
We have found that full brand voice and website copywriting projects produce a much better result than website copyediting. It often takes more time to edit website copy than it does to start over again.

Absolutely. We have several web designers, graphic designers, videographers and photographers we partner with on our client projects. We can also recommend qualified SEO specialists if you need one.
We only recommend people that we have developed strong professional relationships with and/or have worked with previously. We will always make every effort to recommend someone who we believe will be a good fit for your particular needs.
